6 Days Serengeti Wildebeest Migration

Day One – Lake Manyara

Depart Arusha for Lake Manyara stopping for lunch at Manyara Serena Lodge. Later in the afternoon, go for the game drive. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge located beneath the cliffs of Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the rift valley.

Day Two – Lake – Serengeti (NGUTU AREA)

Depart after breakfast to Serengeti for the whole day, take packed lunch. As you proceed to Ngutu safari camp or Mbarangeti Lodge located close to the Ngutu migration path for dinner and overnight stay.

Day Three – Serengeti (NDUTU)

A full day in Serengeti, morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Ndutu Lodge or Mbarangeti tented lodge.

Day Four Serengeti – Ngorongoro area via Olduvai Gorge

Morning game viewing drives then return to the lodge for breakfast, proceed further game drives as you exit the park and drive to Ngorongoro area via Olduvai Gorge. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day Five – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will be taken 2000 ft. down the crater by a four wheel drive for a full day crater tour, picnic lunch at crater. The Ngorongoro crater is often referred to as “The Africa Eden” and the 8^th Natural wonder of the World.  It was formed some 2.5 million years back from a volcanic mountain sinking due to inactivity, and it was initially thought to be higher than mountain Kilimanjaro. The crater is a caldera which measures 22.5 km’s. The crater houses 30,000 animals, and a large variety of birds which rarely move from the area due to the availability of water through wet and dry seasons.

Day Six – Ngorongoro – Arusha

Depart Ngorongoro after breakfast for Arusha.
