Highlights
This safari combines Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia. You will fly over Lake Malawi to the incredible Kaya Mawa lodge for the relaxation on this historic island then proceed by boat to Nkwichi Lodge. Barefoot Luxury awaits mixed with incredible cultural experiences. Fly to South Luangwa National Park.
Day One – Arrival
On arrival at the airport in Lilongwe, you will be welcomed by a professional guide from Afrikan Wildlife Safaris who will then take you to Kumbali Country Lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Bed and Breakfast.
Day Two – Fly Likoma Island
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip to fly to Likoma Island. Later in the evening, you go for the Sunset Cruise on Likoma Island or sundowner. Dinner and overnight at Kaya Mawa lodge. Full board.
Day Three – Likoma Island
You will have breakfast in the morning and then go for the boat Trip to Likoma Island, Village Walks, Swimming with the Cyclid Fish, sunset on Likoma Island, and Kayaking. Dinner and overnight at Kaya Mawa lodge. Full board.
Day Four and Five – Mozambique
Take your early breakfast and then depart Likoma Island and head to Mozambique. You will take a boat to Nkwichi. During your stay, you will visit the village school at Nkwichi, Scuba Diving, and quiet barefoot luxury of wild Northern Mozambique. Dinner and overnight at Nkwichi Lodge. Full board
Day Six – South Luangwa
You wake up and get your morning breakfast, then transferred to the airstrip to fly into South Luangwa National Park. Then later in the day you can go for the evening game drive or nature walk. Dinner and overnight at Nkwali Lodge where you can watch wildlife from your room at Nkwali.
Day Seven and Eight – South Luangwa
After your early breakfast, you will go for the morning walking Safaris with ranger and guide from Tena Tena where you will be tracking wildlife on foot. Dinner and overnight at Tena Tena Bush camp.
Day Nine and Ten – Bush camping
Here you will get another experience of bush camping where you will be sleeping under canvas in the wilderness of bush camping, Eating dinner round the campfire, walking safaris and village visits.
Day Eleven – Lilongwe
After your early breakfast, you will head to Lilongwe. Then in the afternoon, you will go for the city tour. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Bed and Breakfast.
Day Twelve – Fly Out
Enjoy your last breakfast of your adventure, then later you will be transferred to the airport depending on your time of departure. You can go for souvenirs before you fly out back home.
