Day One:
Arrive in Mombasa checking in at a hotel for accommodation which will depend on the client interest. Half board.
Day Two:
Full day spent at leisure visiting places like the Fort Jesus, short walk through the Old Town with its narrow alleys and carved doors and overhanging balconies. You will visit the Old Dhow Harbor where Arab dhows can be seen before proceeding to the Akamba Handicraft Industry where there is a great variety of wood carvings.
Day Three:
After breakfast leave for Tsavo arriving in time for lunch. Later drive to the Park for an afternoon game drive returning to the Lodge.
Day Four:
After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park set at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. After you lunch, you can go for the afternoon game drive. You may have a chance to see the Masai Folk Dancing after your dinner. Dinner and overnight at Tortilis Tented Camp. Full board.
Day Five:
The next morning, go for an early game drive and return to the camp for breakfast. Then in the afternoon, you can decide to go back for the game drive or rest at the camp. Dinner and overnight at Tortilis Tented Camp. Full board.
Day Six
After breakfast, depart Amboseli National Park and drive north through the rich farming areas to the Aberdares Country Club. After lunch proceed to Aberdares National Forest for a night at Famous Ark Lodge – a tree hotel. You can the opportunity to view the game drinking at a water hole and salt lick. Dinner and overnight at The Ark. Full board.
Day Seven:
Drive to take safari adventure to the Samburu National Reserve and have lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, you can go for the game to see the rare reticulated giraffe, Colobus monkey, Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s Zebra, Ostrich, leopard. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge. Full board.
Day Eight:
The following day, continue to explore the beauty of the park during the game drive viewing. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge. Full board.
Day Nine:
After a healthy breakfast, go for the game drive before departing for Lake Baringo arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon there is an optional boat trip in the Lake to view the many birds which inhabit this lake.
Day Ten:
After a healthy breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha richly endowed with birds. After lunch spend the afternoon relaxing while watching and photographing birds before returning to the Lodge.
Day Eleven:
Depart Naivasha for Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, go for the game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge. Full board.
Day Twelve: Masai Mara
Spend the day game viewing in the morning and afternoon drives in Masai Mara National Reserve the most famous park in Kenya because of the great migration of the wildebeest. You can also have an opportunity to enjoy an early morning balloon safari (at extra cost) over the Masai Mara plains. Dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge. Full board
Day Thirteen:
Another full day game viewing with long drive to Mara River where you view hippos and crocodiles. Afternoon at leisure where we have an optional visit to Masai Village.
Day Fourteen:
Morning games drive returning to the Lodge for breakfast before returning to Nairobi reaching by early afternoon. Later you will be transferred to Nairobi.
Best time to visit: August – Sept is best season, when migration happens in Masai Mara. Mombasa is good except April – June. Dec-Feb is good season as well overall with lesser rains expected.
