Kenya and Tanzania Safari

Day 1: Kenya, Nairobi

On arrival in Nairobi, the guide will transfer you to Serena Hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, you can relax at the hotel or have an opportunity to hand feed the Rothschild Giraffes. You will go for dinner at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. The go back to Serena Hotel for the overnight. Bed and Breakfast.

Day 2: Kenya, Nairobi-Masai Mara

After breakfast, drive to Masai Mara National Reserve the most famous park in Kenya because of the great migration of the wildebeest. Arrive in time for lunch and later in the afternoon go for the game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge. Full board.

Day 3: Kenya, Masai Mara

The next day, you can have an opportunity to enjoy an early morning balloon safari (at extra cost) over the Masai Mara plains. Or you can take another morning game drive and be back in time for breakfast. In the evening, go for another game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge. Full board.

Day 4: Kenya, Lake Nakuru

This morning you will drive to Lake Nakuru National Park which is one of the most fabulous for birdlife in the World. The park and the Lake play as a host to the lesser flamingos and other animals like lions, leopard, Rhinos, Hyena. Later in the afternoon, you can go for the evening game drive along Lake Nakuru. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Full board.

Day 5: Kenya, Nairobi-Amboseli
After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park set at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. After you lunch, you can go for the afternoon game drive. You may have a chance to see the Masai Folk Dancing after your dinner. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena or Tortilis Tented Camp. Full board.

Day 6: Kenya, Amboseli
The next morning, go for an early game drive and return to the camp for breakfast. Then in the afternoon, you can decide to go back for the game drive or rest at the camp. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena or Tortilis Tented Camp. Full board.

Day 7: Tanzania, Arusha-Lake Manyara
Today you will connect to the Namanga border after clearing with the immigration customs. Continue to Lake Manyara National Park where troups of baboons are often seen walking by the succulent forest on the lakeside. This park is most prominent for its tree-climbing lion that can be spotted dropped over branches of acacia trees. Enjoy an afternoon game drive after lunch. Day 8: Tanzania Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart to the Serengeti National Park. You will pass via Olduvai Gorge, known as the “land of humanity’ for the leavings of prehistoric inhabitants that were unearthed there. Arrive at your lodge in the Serengeti in time for lunch before going for an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge (full board)

Day 9: Tanzania Serengeti

This morning after breakfast, continue on a morning game drives through the exciting scenery of the Serengeti. Back to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge (full board)

Day 10: Serengeti Plains – Ngorongoro crater
You will drive to the fabled Ngorongoro Crater with its truly breathtaking views. Continue round the rim, where a crew of guides, a ranger and Masai and donkeys will be waiting. Begin a marvelous walk in this pristine Masai land. The track takes you part way around the rim of the crater through open woodland and acacia forests.

To your right are the remarkably spectacular views of the crater floor below, and to your left are the endless plains of the Serengeti. A very simple camp is set in a remote location where one of the important rivers off the highland volcanoes enters the crater. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro wildlife lodge (FB)

Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning game drive with a picnic lunch inside the Ngorongoro Crater.  You can expect to see lions, elephants, Zebras, Hippos, Flamingos, Jackals, Rhinos Antelopes and many birds. The birds seen here include eagle, vulture, and flamingos in the Crater Lake, stork, bats, giant vulture, sacred ibis, kori bustard, blacksmith plover, long necked heron and the cattle eagle. In the afternoon you will enjoy walking safari on the crater rim. Dinner and overnight Ngorongoro wildlife lodge.

Day 12 – Ngorongoro crater – Arusha/Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast, after which you will transfer back to Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha/Nairobi you will have lunch, dinner and overnight at the lodge.

You may stay an extra before you catch your flight back home.
