Day One: Arrival
Upon your arrival at Alexandria airport, the guide from Afrikan Wildlife Safaris will welcome you and transfer you by an A/C car to your hotel. Overnight in Alexandria.
Day 2: Alexandria Day Tour
This morning after breakfast, the guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Alexandria. Visit the library of Alexandria, the biggest library in the world – now with 8 million books. Visit it’s open court and free museums. But note that Alexandria Library is closed on Fridays and on every public holiday. To enter the reading area you will need to purchase an extra ticket.
Then visit the Site of the Lighthouse, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World on which now stands the castle of Qaitbey. Visit the royal gardens of King Farouk (the last king in the history of Egypt) and see the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek as well as the royal beaches of the queens. Continue and visit the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, as well as the memorial of the unknown Soldier of Alexandria and the statue of Alexander the Great.
Have lunch and then visit the church of St. Mark – the oldest church in Africa before driving along the Cornish to see the whole city of Alexandria from the sea side which includes the old harbor of Alexandria where we found 7000 monuments underwater. Stop over the famous bridge of Stanley – the modern landmark of modern Alexandria, before visiting the old downtown of Alexandria and walking through the old city-center of Alexandria which was built by Alexander the great. Later drive back to your hotel. Overnight in Alexandria.
Day Three: Cairo tour
Today after breakfast, the guide will pick you up from your hotel in Alexandria and transfer by an A/C vehicle to Cairo. In Cairo, visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions & Sphinx.
Visit the Egyptian Museum of antiquities. On display is rare collection of 5000 years of art the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Including an exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry. Drive back to the hotel in Alexandria for dinner and overnight. There is an optional evening trip to attend the Sound & Light show in the Pyramids area.
Day Four: Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, the guide will take you to the airport to catch your flight back home.
