Day One: Alamein and Siwa
The guide from Afrikan Wildlife Safaris will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo very early and drive you Alamein. When in Alamein, you will enjoy the site where the great battle took place during WW II, and visit the WW II Museum and the Cemetery. Proceed to the beautiful bay of Marsa Matrouh on the Mediterranean Coast, after that continue to Siwa. . Dinner and Overnight in Siwa.
Day Two: Siwa
This morning after breakfast, you will visit to the Old City of Siwa. Then drive to the Alexander Temple at Aghurmi Village which is dedicated to the God Amon- 26 Dynasty and then see Amun Ra Temple at Um Ubeyda. After that head to visit Cleopatra Spring (Ein Guba). End up by visiting the Siwa House Museum. Overnight in Siwa.
Day Three: Shiata Lake – Bir Wahed
Get the breakfast at hotel and drive to the Siwa Desert with Maraki Village. Cross the desert to stop near one of the unique archeology sign at Great Siwa Mountain where is the first human footprint above the mountain which date to pre-history era. Continue your Safari between the dunes till we arrive at the fossils area and see the rocky coral reefs which date to Cambrian era. Then drive to one of the spring eyes at the middle of the desert (Shiata Lake) and it is a good chance to watch the Flamingo birds and swim at cold spring. You can also try out the sand surfing at the desert. Then drive to another hot spring which is called Bir Wahid spring for chilling. Later drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day Four: Siwa Oasis
On this day, you will visit the tombs inside the Mountain of the Dead ( Gabal El Maouta ) enjoy watching some interesting tombs like SI Amon, MSW Isis, Crocodile Tomb.
After that view Dakrour Mountains, Then drive to Abu Sherouf, one of the Siwan Villages to enjoy the Bedouin style life and enjoy the Roman Spring eye. Later drive back to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight in Siwa.
Day Five: Back to Cairo
After breakfast, the guide will drive you back to Cairo to you own accommodation.
