Madagascar Kirindy Forest
The highlights of this trip includes crossing the Tsiribihina River by ferryboat and stop for lunch in Belo Tsiribihina, Explore the wonders of the Grande Tsingy, Paddle to the Gorges of the Manambolo River and return overland south Kirindy Forest Reserve, Visit the Avenue of the Baobabs.
Day One: Morondava – Bekopaka.
The guide will pick you from your hotel in the early morning and head north for the town of Belo Tsiribihina. We cross the Tsiribihina River by ferryboat and stop for lunch in Belo Tsiribihina. Proceed north to Bekopaka on the banks of the Manambolo River. Dinner and overnight in Bekopaka.
Day Two:
This morning, we will drive to the entrance of the park and explore the Grande Tsingy. In the afternoon, visit the Petite Tsingy. Dinner and overnight in Bekopaka.
Day Three:
Today, you will paddle to the Gorges of the Manambolo River. Then to south Kirindy Forest Reserve. Late afternoon and evening walks in the forest. Overnight in rustic bungalows in the forest.
Day Four: Kirindy to Morondava.
Have breakfast and go for an early morning forest walk which very good for birding, Then return to Morondava with stops at the way when you find something interesting.
