Madagascar Expedition

Day One: Arrival in Antananarivo
On your arrival in Antananarivo, the guide from Afrikan Wildlife Safaris will pick welcome you and then transfer you to the hotel for the overnight. Dinner and overnight at Lokanga Boutique Hotel.
Day Two: Three and Four
After your breakfast, you will drive to Vakona Lodge. You will have stop at Marozevo, a breeding facility for Malagasy reptiles, amphibians and butterflies and gives you the opportunity to view some species you may not easily see in the wild. The three nights here, you will visit Andasibe/Analamazaotra, Vakona Private and Mantadia Parks during your stay . You will also do a night tour to spot nocturnal animals. Dinner and overnight at Vakona Lodge.
Day Five and Six:
Today, you will drive to Manambato from where you take a boat to Bush House Lodge.
Bush House is hidden amid lush forest on a hillside with spectacular views across Lake Ampitabe on the Pangalanes Canal in eastern Madagascar. This Bush House is hand built using locally sourced materials and only reached by boat via an old shipping canal.
For the two night here, you will explore the area by boat, and guided walks through the local reserve that is home to a variety of endangered species, including lemur like crowned, red-bellied, ring-tailed, black and white ruffled, chameleon and radiated tortoise. You can also go for canoeing. Dinner and overnight at Bush House Lodge.
Day Seven, Eight, Nine and Ten: Tsarabanjina
You will have an early start along the Pangalanes Canal on another boat. The guide will drive you to Tamatave Airport in time to take a scheduled flight departing for Antananarivo. Take your scheduled flight to Nosy Be. On arrival, you will be transferred again by boat to Tsarabanjina where you spend the next four nights.
For the four nights on the island, you can enjoy the fantastic diving and snorkeling for which this area is renowned. You can also organize deep sea fishing, sailing, boat cruises and waterskiing.
Day Eleven: Fly Nosy Be to Antananarivo
After your breakfast, you will fly by scheduled flight back to Antananarivo. Then connect to your international flight back home.
