Day One – Arrival to Casablanca
When you arrive in Morocco, the guide from Afrikan Wildlife Safaris will welcome you at the airport and then transfer you to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at Riad Adore.
Day Two: Marrakech guided walking tour
This morning, you will go for the Marrakech city tour. This remarkable city, dating from the 11the century is fascinating with graceful architecture of the Koutoubia Minaret, the Djema El Fna, at the heart of the medina. Enjoy Marrakesh on foot with your guide. Later in the afternoon, you will go for Food taste in Marrakesh market. The guide will take you to the hidden food shops which will give you a chance to sample a variety of fod delicacies in souks and also visit the local spice market. Dinner and overnight at Riad Adore.
Day Three: Agafay
Have breakfast and head to the High Atlas Mountains towards the Moulay Brahim valley. This is a beautiful mountain area dotted by Berber villages whose homes are made of mud dwellings. Have a chance to view the man made damm of Lalla Takerkoust. You will proceed through the mountains offering us some incredible views of the Ouirgane Valley. Arrive in Agafay. Agafay is an area called “Marrakech desert” and it is a beautiful arid area punctuated only by Nomads and their herds. In the background, you can admire the beautiful Atlas Mountains landscape. Dinner and overnight at Dar Hnini.
Day Four: Erg Chigaga
After breakfast, enjoy guided tour of the palm groves then proceed to the desert through Zagora and further to Tamengroute famous for its green glaze cast for its local earth ovens. Then onto M’hamid where our road will end and we set onto the off-road for about a 2-hour drive to the remote dunes of Erg Chigaga. As you arrive at your camp. The camel guide will take you on a camel trek through this wonderful region. Dinner and overnight at Desert Luxury Camp.
Day Five: Erg Chigaga – Foum Zquid – Taznakht – Marrakech
On this day after breakfast, we depart back to Marrakech through the fata morgana lake of Iriquie to Foum Zquid. Here we stop to visit the local carpet cooperative and then across the High Atlas to Marrakech. Dinner and overnight at Riad Reves D’ Orient
Day Six: Marrakech – Casablanca
After breakfast, you will be transfer to the Marrakech airport or Casablanca airport to catch your flight back home depending on your flight time.
