Northern Tanzania
Day One:
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park which was named after the river which flows through the park arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, you can go for the afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.
Day Two:
After breakfast, depart and head to Lake Manyara National Park arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, go for the afternoon game drive. The park is known for the tree climbing lions. Then later in the late afternoon drive to Ngorongoro Highlands, overnight Gibbs Farm.
Day Three:
After breakfast, you will be taken 2000 ft. down the crater by a four wheel drive for a full day crater tour, picnic lunch at crater. The Ngorongoro crater is often referred to as “The Africa Eden” and the 8th Natural wonder of the World. It was formed some 2.5 million years back from a volcanic mountain sinking due to inactivity, and it was initially thought to be higher than mountain Kilimanjaro. The crater is a caldera which measures 22.5 km’s. The crater houses 30,000 animals, and a large variety of birds which rarely move from the area due to the availability of water through wet and dry seasons. Later ascend to the rim and departure to Arusha.
