Three Days Tunisia
On this three days tour, you will experience the Kairouan, Visit the Great Mosque, the oldest place of worship in North Africa, Explore Ksar Ghilane, an Oasis in the desert
Day One: Tunis – Kairouan – Tozeur
The guide will pick you from your hotel and drive you to Kairouan and visit the Great Mosque, the oldest place of worship in North Africa, and the zaouia, or tomb complex, of Sidi Sahab, a companion of the Prophet. The proceed to Tozeur and visit that old town which has not changed much since the 14th century when it was built.
Day Two: Tozeur – Chebika – Tamerza – Douz – Ksar Ghilane
After breakfast, we will an excursion to the mountain oases. There is an option to visit “Ong Jemel” where many scenes of “Star Wars” were filmed. Accessible only with Jeep. After lunch, continue to cross the Chott El Jerid. Later proceed to Ksar Ghilane, an oasis in the desert where you can stay at night in a Bedouin camp (Yadis Pansea) with luxury tents
Day Three: Ksar Ghilane – Matmata – Gabes – Tuni
This morning. You will head for the troglodyte village of Matmata where dwellings are built like craters. Continue to visit the hotel Sidi Driss, where scenes from the Lars homestead in Star Wars were filmed. Then head back to Tunis
