Day One: Arrival in Antananarivo
Upon arrival, the guide from Afrikan Wildlife Safaris will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel for the overnight.
Day Two: Ifotaka Forest
This morning after you breakfast, you will go back to the airport to fly to Fort Dauphin. Another guide will pick you and transfer you to Mandrare River Camp. Relax in the afternoon.
Day Three: Ifotaka Forest
Today, you will go for a walk in the sacred forest to look for lemurs, chameleons and birds.
Day Four: Ifotaka Forest
After your breakfast, you will go for further forest walks, Experience the Antandroy culture. Visit the local village and meet with the ombiasy or learning how to use a zebu-hide slingshot. The Antandroy tribe are a fascinating people and this is a good opportunity to experience their culture.
Day Six: Manafiafy
Have your breakfast and fly back to Fort Dauphin today, the proceed to Manafiafy Beach . Dinner and overnight at Rainforest Lodge. This is a great place to relax with plenty of wildlife in the area.
Day Seven: Manafiafy
Another exciting day, you will go for snorkelling around the sheltered bay, go for guided walks in the forest along with boat rides through the mangrove channels and to nearby islands.
Day Eight: Manafiafy
After your breakfast, you will go for fishing trip from Manafiafy with guides from the lodge or go for boat rides to nearby Islands.
Day Nine: Manafiafy
You will explore Manafiafy more by guided walks. There are different lemur species including the dwarf, mouse, sportive and brown lemurs as well as reptiles.
Day Ten: Antananarivo
Today, drive to Fort Dauphin for your flight back to Antananarivo and relax in the afternoon.
Day Eleven: International return flight
After your breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your onward flights today.
